A spring tension plus the surrounding air pressure keeps the air wipe closed yet it opens readily to passing knots.The very low air consumption is registered in a Performance Data Sheet for reference on the shop floor. The wear components carry a 2-years warranty.

Four (4) wiping cylinder of bore diameters 2, 3, 4, 5 mm are offered, recommanded for wiping wire
diameters 1.6, 2.6, 3.6, and 4.6 mm respectively, at the optimum efficiency. You can also wipe wires
of less then the recommended diameter at a lower efficiency, without adverse consequences.
